Today, the Secretaría de Cultura opened the photo exhibition “Hidden Labyrinths: Two Microscopic Glances of Nature”, in the open-air gallery of Bosque de Chapultepec.
Galería Abierta de las Rejas del Bosque de Chapultepec, the open-air gallery on the gates of Chapultepec Forest at Paseo de la Reforma, is an exhibition space by the Ministry of Culture of the DF, which began with this novel concept of open air art shows displaying the best of national and international artists in an area open 24 hours a day, in one of the most emblematic sites of the city.
Until May 7th, the public may view 140 images that highlight the microscopic beauty of our world, at the open-air gallery. The showing is part of the Festival FYJA 2017, which will take place in the Botanical Garden of Chapultepec April 28-30.
FYJA brings together landscapers, architects, artists, designers, craftsmen, gardeners and students, whose talents will gather what is necessary to create a tour with various activities and exhibitions that will provide the opportunity for all – experts, amateurs and curious – to have contact with horticulture and to experience the benefits of plants.
