Mexico City celebrates World Heath Day with free services at the Zocalo
In celebration of World Health Day, the Government of Mexico City will offer free health care services to citizens and visitors on Thursday and Friday in Plaza de la Constitución, the capital city’s Zocalo.
This is a “City of Health” event, which will provide medical consultations, geriatric care for the elderly, blood tests and benefits of breastfeeding, among others.
The local Health Secretariat (SEDESA) reports that animal health services will also be included, offered at the Iztapalapa Veterinary Hospital, through anti-rabies vaccination of dogs and cats and sterilization.
The services in the Zocalo will be this Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
