The National Meteorological Service (SMN) forecast for Friday in the Valley of Mexico calls for potential showers to strong thunderstorms, accompanied by lightening and possible hail.
The agency forecasts the area to be partly cloudy to cloudy in the morning.
In the afternoon, there is a potential for rainfall with strong storms accompanied by lightening and possible hail in the State of Mexico and intervals of scattered showers in Mexico City.
It is estimated wind from the west at 15 to 30 kilometers per hour with gusts of 50 kilometers per hour.
In Mexico City a maximum temperature of 26 to 28 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 12 to 14 degrees is expected.
In the state of Mexico the expected maximum temperature is 24 to 26 degrees Celsius and minimum of 3 to 5 degrees.
